ABPA-SA is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to educate the public on backflow prevention and cross connection control.

That is our mission. That is the reason we are a part of this association. That is the reason I chose to be a member.

I have been a plumber for 38 years. The last 8 years as a construction manager, and the previous 11 years as a plumbing inspector. Aside from the required hands on training, I haven't repaired or tested an assembly in almost 20 years. But that hasn't diminished my knowledge or passion. I know from my experiences the dangers of cross connections and contamination. I maintain my membership personally. My employer does not sponsor me nor do I represent them. I am driven by the creed "The plumber protects the health of the nation."
