We are currently seeking an Environmental Management Systems Specialist for one of the nation’s leading environmental consulting firms to provide support to their San Diego office.

Responsibilities include hazardous materials assessment, safety training, audit and reporting, and related planning and compliance. A water related background is a plus. Qualified candidates should have at least five years of experience, a B.S. degree in a related science or engineering field, excellent writing skills, and familiarity with the following:

• - Spill Prevention and Response Plans
• - Business Emergency Plans
• - Contingency Plans
• - Environmental Auditing, including air, hazardous materials, worker safety
• - Hazard Communication Plans
• - Worker Training/First Response Training
• - Hazardous Waste Manifesting/Storage/Transportation
• - Biennial Reporting
• - Site Remediation
