American Backflow Prevention Association Announces
Results of Region Director
BRYAN, TX (April 14, 2016) – The American Backflow Prevention Association (ABPA) has elected four members to serve on its 2016 – 2018 Board of Directors. These Board members were sworn into office during the Annual Education Conference and Trade Show, held in San Diego, California, March 14 - 16, 2016. The following Board members will represent ABPA on the national level for the next two years.
Region 4 – Troy Baird, Bac Flo Unlimited, Inc. (San Antonio, Texas)
Region 6 – Lyle Greenhill, Southern Nevada Backflow (Las Vegas, Nevada)
Region 7 – Steve Herres, Steve Herres Construction, Inc. (Pomeroy, Washington). Steve will serve one year, filling a vacancy when Steve West had to step down as he was unable to fulfill his commitment.
Region 12 – Rich Koenig, Nebraska Health & Human Services (Norfolk, Nebraska)
In addition, during the Board of Directors meeting on Saturday, May 12, 2016 the Board appointed Billie Vines as Secretary. Billie is the Cross-Connection Control Manager for the City of Wichita, Kansas.
International President John Graham stated “The 2016 Board of Directors will continue the Association’s focus to improve operations and strengthen member relations. We are very fortunate to have a leadership team with such a broad range of expertise, committed to public health protection through cross-connection control educational programs and public outreach”.
